I forgot to tell you that we lived through Hurricane Ike. However we are refugees at the Christianson's here in Queen City. They seem to be one of two coaches with power. Last night was long with NO power. We were pretty bored. We are being told Friday before we have any power... UHG!!! Oh well, more time to spend with our second families... coaches!:) We have learned a lot about the East side of the state. It tends to be a throw back in time. That is a post for another day. Needless to say we are OK!

Hi Kristy! Sure doesn't sound like much fun :( My sister got married yesterday, Hurricane remnants and all! The ceremony was suppose to be at 6:00 but the chapel "suggested" that it be moved to 1:00 to avoid the heavest rain...turned out to be a GREAT idea!
Miss seeing you! Hang in there!
What a relief! Hurricane has you wet, winded, and powerless for awhile but okay. I'm glad to have contact with you by phone,e-mail, and blog now. Don't forget more pics of the grandbabies! love, dp
Glad that you survived IKE. Nancy and I were looking up where you lived to see if you were affected. Hope things get on a more even keel for you.
