For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for good and not evil, to give you a future and a hope."

Trying....

So this is my third time to write... and though I feel compelled to write, I don't know exactly what to say! So maybe bullets would be better today.
  • Jentri is sick... had to come home early, which is why I'm up late.
  • Brett made it home from Amarillo... please pray for peace!
  • New job... even though I've been in FISD there is still new stuff to learn... floating through!
  • Landry is a 1st grader... as always nervous about how the year will go.
  • No Friday Night Lights...
  • Finding a "HOME" church... looking for something more...
  • Trent... placed in a home... peace for the boys and Donna! Comfort for Trent!
  • ..........

I missed you this weekend but the time with the boys was needed. I know Brett is grieving. It is much like a death and yet we will have many to go through. They said Trent seemed fine, arranging chairs in the dining room, eating double portions, and talking a little football with one of the girls on Memory Walk. I found myself in the grocery store buying groceries for Granny and realized I was rushing to get home at 4:00. I'll be okay when I realized that I'm not captive to a schedule and Trent is well cared for and they either plan to keep him or I have 2 back-ups picked out.

Sorry Jentri is sick. When I talked to Brett he said she was. Is Landry enjoying the year so far?

I understand the need for you guys to take care of this without us being there. It would have been more to deal with. I'm hoping this will give you some relief and peace. Jentri has strep! I stayed home today and I will stay home tomorrow. She has cried all afternoon and wouldn't sleep. She is finally down right now. Hopefully for a while. We love you, make sure to take care of yourself!

OH... Landry loves his teacher and loves walking to school with the boys from Jentri's daycare. He cried this morning because he didn't get to walk with them. I like his teacher so far as well. Keep praying!
